What is coaching?Coaching is an on going professional relationship aimed at helping clients deepen their knowledge about themselves; improve their performance and quality of life. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing and able to do to get where they want to be in the future. Professional coaching is not counseling, therapy or consulting. Who would benefit from being coached?Let me answer that by asking a fewquestions. Would you like to build new life habits? Are you capable of more than you are currently achieving? Do you have this nagging feeling that something is missing in your life? Do you ever feel as if you can’t get out of your own way? Would you like to know what’s holding you back? If you answered yes to any of these question you may benefit from coaching. How does it work?Coaching can be done over the phone or in person. It can take place before or after an organizing session or stand alone. Stand alone sessions usually take place weekly with a commitment of 4 sessions at a time. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. What Can Clients Expect?During our conversations you can expect me to provide you with an opportunity for self-awareness and insight in a safe and neutral environment. We will focus on your strengths and values and clarify your goals. As coach it is my job to provide support while keeping you accountable for actions we’ve identified that will move you closer to achieving your goals. I agree with the international coach federation which considers each person to be the expert in his/her life and believes that every one is creative, resourceful, and whole.
