Professionals Help Merrimack Food Bank“GET ORGANIZED”: 2010

A group of 11 professional organizers from New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts descended on the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in Lowell on Friday January 15th.  Their goal was to spend the day working along side the food bank’s staff and volunteers to organize the facility’s offices and warehouse storage areas.  By eliminating unwanted papers, reducing clutter, consolidating office supply storage and establishing organizational systems that are easy to follow and maintain the food bank will be prepared to assist their customers more efficiently and effectively. > read more

Organizer Offers Advice to Busy Mothers of Multiples

Lorraine Falcone, a professional organizer and founder of Hudson-based Naturally Organized, spoke to the Greater Nashua Parents of Twins and More (GNPOTM) on Thursday, January 14.  The evening was a chance for friends to gather, share organizing tips and enjoy a night out.

Organizers Help Families by Helping Anne-Marie House: Get Organized 2009

For families experiencing homelessness, the Anne-Marie House often is the first step into a new living situation. During January, a group of ten professional women stepped forward to help these families by organizing donations that the House had received, which are important for a family that is starting over and needs the items for housing independence. This energetic and talented group of women were hard at work when the Area News Group was invited to visit. > read more

We had worked about 20 minutes before I thought to take this picture.

Organizing this garage took the homeowner and me a total of 9 hours.  That included time to shop for shelving and bins and time to build 4 shelving units. 2 of the units can’t be seen in this picture.  I returned 4 months later to help organize the basement and the garage looked just like it does in this picture.  One of the unexpected benefits of a well organized, spacious garage was that the children could play in there when it was raining outside.
